Martin Margiela, the legendary Belgian fashion designer had never before shown any of his collections in Sweden. Garments and accessories from two private collections were selected, which for one week made up the exhibit, “Margiela was here” at the premises on Arsenalgatan.
We curated and designed the exhibit as well as a catalogue in a numbered edition of 500 copies, where each catalogue received a unique cover. We designed invitations to the opening and put out a number of ads in the daily newspapers.
The exhibit received a lot of attention both in the press and on the Internet. Bukowskis also achieved their goal of getting a younger public to visit the exhibit.
A unique exhibit with the legendary fashion designer, Martin Margiela helped Bukowskis to rejuvenate its target group.
