Get Moving

Client: Intersport

When running completely exploded into a popular movement in Sweden, the large sporting goods chains competed for the attention of women in particular. Intersport came to us for help to join the battle. With Swedish athlete Maria Akraka as spokesperson and the motto, Get Moving, we created a concept where all runners who wanted to could get their running shoes tested and furthermore a chance to test them at home.


The concept was conveyed through commercials with story-telling and short add-ons with price focus. We also produced images for catalogues, ads and stores together with the message, Get Moving.

“Maria Akraka is someone who many people can and want to identify with.”

With Maria Akrara’s credibility and appealing ways, the concept was a success. The objective of surpassing the biggest competitor in the target group of women was accomplished. Furthermore, both the awareness surrounding the brand as well as the sales for running shoes were increased for Intersport.
