Unleash Christmas!
This Christmas we could go all together with the theme “Vi släpper loss julen”. Artist and illustrator Yoyo Nasty set the tone with her fun and crazy illustrations which took over Åhléns store windows, in-stores, packaging, still and moving pictures, a special Christmas collection and even a subway train. To top it off we asked Miss Li and her band, one of Sweden’s most loved artists, to perform at Åhléns City. The live stream had + 625.000 viewers. Enjoy the case film.

Not your ordinary Christmas
Due to the pandemic Åhléns Christmas 2020 campaign demanded new ideas and solutions, both physically and digitally. We coined the campaign concept “En jul för varandra”, suggesting that we had to celebrate this Christmas at distance from family, friends, and others.
We tapped illustrator Lina Ekstrand to create the Christmas figures and patterns around caring and togetherness.
We came up with an idea for a new digital board game “Visste du att?” that you and your loved ones could download for free and play wherever you spent the Christmas.
A special invitation was sent out to Åhléns club members and customers to join a live concert streaming on Facebook and Instagram. The well-known Swedish tenor Rickard Söderberg performed on the roof terrace of Åhléns City in Stockholm and the stream had +500.000 viewers.

Spring 2020
A sure sign of spring
With our Åhléns fashion campaign we wanted to capture the energy and excitement of spring. Under communicative concept “Säkra vårtecken” we created a studio set with fresh daylight and popping colours. Against this background our models styled in new spring looks could express their own spring feelings, both in photos and films.
